Can I take your supplements without food?

Hi Lorna, I have been having good success using your Sexsmart, but I am about to do a fast for spiritual reasons and am wondering if it's okay to take Sexsmart on an empty stomach. I also have been using the GLA oil for my eczema and though I haven't noticed much improvement at all, I would like to continue to take it during my fast. Can you offer any suggestions? I will be fasting for a week or more.

Hello,

Technically you can try taking these products without food but you may be better just waiting until your fast is over. There is a chance of stomach upset, and nausea. Also, supplements are absorbed much better when taken with food so you may be wasting a weeks worth of product. You can apply the GLA to your skin while on the fast.

How long have you been taking Lorna's GLA? Eczema can be aggravated by food allergies, stress and weather. Have you tried removing foods like dairy or wheat from your diet to see if it cleared at all?
